My business raises, finishes and sells all grass beef by the cut. My market is niche direct sales. It became apparent that consumer demand was exceeding the volume of product I had. It was time to increase my herd and product to team up with market demand and increase sales. In the summer of 2012 I began the steps necessary to increase my herd. When exploring financing options, I began working with the VC2 team to asses what assistance would be most beneficial.
